Just an idea, might not be the best one. For fixing the Titan-A Enterprise-G legacy problem. They can still have the whole scene with jack and the Picard family on the shuttle and then eventually showing the Titan-B, being a newest top of the line vessel (perhaps another Odyssey class?) and Picard goes “ah of course, the new Titan!” And then the shuttle go past the Titan-B, showing the neo Connie enterprise G, then most of the scene can be kept as is, while also kind of honouring the legacy of the Titan

The Sutherland class is a big ship so I think it would have more fire power than what your saying here. I will bump it up to 12 mark 22 phasers and 4 variable torpedo launchers.

I think it’s time, for a new story chapter, should get thought up, about (VOYAGER). I imagine a scenario; In which the descendants, of the previous surviving members, of the first VOYAGER ship, get to experience their own adventures. On the starship USS VOYAGER Mark22, I also imagine that the starship, and it has extra features built to it. Such as mega strong nano-tech armor shields, that covers the entire starship in case of extreme danger, and a Anti-Borg pulse shield. After all there’s still a chance, that there might be a few more, evil Borgs remaining somewhere, hidden in some unknown places in the universe. I got that idea, after seeing the episodes, from (STAR TREK: PICARD) show, in the Third Season, and Fourth Season of it. Plus to add I imagine, another member is part of the crew, I imagine it’s an android male, who is one of Data’s descendants.

In hindsight, having the Breen be related to the Changelings in some manner would've been a pretty cool plot twist. They formed a very long time before the Founders sent out the 100 baby Changelings and fell through the Wormhole and over time became the Breen and they forgot their origins or only suspected their origins. The fact that they're jelly-like doesn't completely preclude the possibility that they're very distantly related, much like a human is related to reptile way back on the tree of life, hence the Breen's semi-solid appearance and perhaps their proclivity for war or mistrust of others.

I'm just trying to figure out why TOS Klingons use "D7" and TNG Klingons actually use Klingon names. "D7" had to be the human English translation from before the Universal Translator was ubiquitous.

As I think about it now based on everything that has happened I would question if this time line actually 4exists anymore.

To understand “warp” I’ve always thought of an analogy of O’Brians Jack Aubrey sailing novels. To “warp-out” a ship means to anchor a rope at some far point away from a dock or anchorage and the crew in the ship will PULL the rope to move the ship forward until they have sufficient clearance and wind. Kinda of like a warp bubble described in the video: expanding space in back and using energy forward to “compress” the distance.

My theory at the time was that the Badlands might have been some kind of holdover, or left behind, somehow from the collapse of the Expanse and it's sphere network in 2154 by Enterprise. However, I do realise my theory has no basis, as we don't really know if the expanse was localised and how far it reached. We do know that the Cardassians did go into the Beta Quadrant as early as the 2150's, as evidenced by the Cardassian Isolinear chip on the Automated Repair Station seen in Dead Stop. Then again a Vaadwaur is somehow seen on the station and that's never been explained.. Again, my theory is fairly baseless, but at the time, I figured why, outside of a few isolated incidents, like the episode Acquisition, why races like the Ferengi, the Cardassian and Breen were not encountered by Starfleet until the 24th Century. And that the Badlands and some other anomalies are leftovers due to the damage done to space by the Expanse.

Whoever did this S1 cut-and-paste travesty DID NOT understand Star Trek. Amazingly, a random fan on the internet would have more knowledge than the people making the show, in seasons one and two at least.

Additionally, the DS9 uniforms specifically are thick enough to give some protection from blunt impact. However, this conclusion ignores the fact that several of their opponents, notably the klingons, are known for bladed weaponry. Even a coat of mail is effectively invincible against a knife and would probably stop a battleth. I agree about them not wanting to use armor in normal circumstances, but when they are going to open war, they should at least be better armored than in a cantina

Who designs a space station that is capable of holding up to eighteen massive starships but only installs a single door that just one ship barely fits through? Obviously Starfleet.

I assumed the Borg never appear in the alpha quadrant....they only appear because of Q ....and given how humanity was in the mirror timeline i doubt he would even notice or care about humanity or Picard

After this breakdown, I consider a Packled brain similar to a family member of mine. He tells me he knows he is stupid but I never thought that, rather that he never gives himself time to process. He is impatient and cuts corners yet cannot understand why everything in his life seems to go wrong. I keep telling him to slow down and let himself think. He had had many jobs as an engineer, which he is very good at, but he is always breaking tools, mainly because he js too heavy-handed and doesn't read instructions properly. He instictively has an idea about how things work but I think he gets bored before he understands everything and moves on to something else. In less practical matters, he will hop on an idea quickly without taking the time to understand it properly, making him appear nieve. I know that if he got help to give himself time to process, his life would be a different story.

There really are some problems with classification. Starting back in the late 1960s and the development of the Star Fleet Battles game. which until recent decades was considered canon. Many of the ship definitions we see today are from that very game. The video game Star Fleet Commander was an adaption of the board game. Several of the designers and writers of the original series contributed material to the game. So let me see D5, D6, and D7 all there. In fact, it would be remiss of anyone making comments about ships and classes not to look into this resource.

Kobali mission arc should have and opt-out selection. I know it give a lot of background information to the Harry Kim character. But the Kobali are the only race in STO that I really hate. We all know why. The gas weapon. Is a means to an end. If everyone who dies during the battle is infected with the V virus. It means that all the dead are safe from being Harvested. Like a crop. To bad Capt. Janeway didn't issue a warning to the Kobali. Like she did with the Videans and the Harvesting organic material (AKA Body Parts and Organs) to fight their Pagh. I really hope an opt-out for all Kobali missions happen soon.

So with all of these videos on the different classes of ship designs AND following the successes of Voyager against the Borg so it could return to Earth in End Game, why is it we never hear or see in future ship designs, the "Deployed Armour" technology or the use of "Transphasic Torpedos" that Admiral Janeway brought with her from the future? Is this technology and weaponry only useful against the Borg? Can it not be adaptive or utilised against other hostile encounters?

I still love the K'tinga and D7 designs. I never really warmed to the Vorcha or the Neng'Vahr class ships of the 24th century. I also really like the Klingon D4 patrol ships from Star Trek Into Darkness.

Nice Video! I remember reading or hearing that the Romulans sabotaged the Cloaking Devices they traded to the Klingons so that the Devices would emit a low/high frequency sound that would over time drive the Klingons crazy. Is this true or am I misrembering?? Thanks!

Maybe the same subspace phenomenon that oscillates a graviton ellipse between normal space and subspace is the same phenomenon that somehow allows the badlands a stable area to exist. Or....maybe the badlands give "birth" to an occasional graviton ellipse as a way to expel excess energy the badlands create. That would explain why the ellipse is unstable (the oscillation) as it has left the region that keeps it stable...
